You will find that my basic pricing is more in line with traditional invitations.* 
(Most companies offering original design charge $2.50-$3 per invitation.)

Pricing for invitation ensembles is as follows, due when you send back the proof you like:

Consultation fee
You're welcome to drop in for a consultation or contact me for samples in your colors (the first sample is free); however, because of the time involved in gathering information and designing samples I charge $20 up front for this service, which I later credit to your order.

Design fee
($20 for maps or accommodations inserts or reception cards, $28 for thank-you notes or response cards, $38 for save-the-dates, $47 for invitations or programs, add $15 each if texture is desired)

Money for the product itself

95 cents per save-the-date (with envelope)

$1.25 per invitation (with envelope; inner envelope available for an additional 35 cents or plain lined inner envelope available for an additional 60 cents; ask me about fun liners at cost)

65 cents per response postcard

80 cents per response card (with envelope)

50 cents per informational insert (maps, accomodations, reception card)

$1.50 per wedding program

75 cents per thank-you card (with envelope)

*I have researched the cost involved in adding texture (embossing, pearlescence, foil stamping) and unique shapes (such as seal-and-send) to my creations.  Here is where being a small business puts me at a disadvantage, but I can still offer these possibilities for an increased price. The cost varies based on how many pieces you order and how intricate the detail of the designs you're considering.  For example, for a classic triple-border design embossed around the edges of 325 invitations, the cost per invitation is $2.50.  Work with me and I can get you a more exact quote. 

Pricing for calligraphy--due when you want me to send the completed envelopes:
$1.60 each for outer envelopes (add $1 for return addresses)
85 cents each for inner envelopes
Add $10 to total if colored or metallic ink is desired
Add 50 cents per envelope if it's too thick to see through when held up to the light
Please allow 1 week's preparation time for each 50 invitations you want me to address.  For example, if you are mailing out 200 invitations, I need the envelopes 3 months before the wedding so that you can have them sent out the standard 6-8 weeks in advance.
